This page explains how Knotly users can request deletion of their account and associated personal data.
How to request account deletion
Email Knotly Support at info@bandhans.com from the email address connected to your Knotly account where possible.
Information to include
- The email address linked to your Knotly account.
- A clear message saying you want your Knotly account deleted.
- Any extra information that helps us verify the account belongs to you.
Data that will be deleted or anonymised
After your request is verified, Knotly will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymise your profile, photos, preferences, matches, chat-related account data, and other personal data connected to your account.
Data that may be retained
Some records may be retained where required for legal, safety, fraud prevention, dispute, tax, security, or compliance reasons. Some data may also remain in backups or logs for a limited period before automatic deletion.
Processing time
We aim to process verified deletion requests within a reasonable period after identity and account ownership are confirmed.
