Knotly is a dating and social connection app intended for adults aged 18 and over. We are committed to user safety and have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation, child sexual abuse material, grooming, exploitation, sextortion, trafficking, or any behaviour that endangers minors.
Zero tolerance: Knotly does not allow child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation of minors, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or any conduct that targets or harms children.
1. Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM
Knotly strictly prohibits:
- Uploading, sharing, requesting, promoting, or distributing child sexual abuse material.
- Any sexual content involving minors.
- Grooming, sextortion, exploitation, trafficking, or attempts to contact minors for sexual purposes.
- Any content, message, image, profile, or behaviour that endangers or targets children.
- Any activity that violates child safety laws or child protection regulations.
Accounts involved in these activities may be permanently banned, content may be removed, and reports may be made to relevant authorities where required.
2. Adult-only platform
Knotly is designed for users aged 18 and over. Users must not create an account if they are under 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we may remove the account and take appropriate safety action.
3. In-app reporting
Knotly provides users with ways to report safety concerns, inappropriate behaviour, suspicious profiles, abusive messages, and child safety concerns. Reports are reviewed and appropriate action may be taken, including content removal, account restriction, account suspension, or reporting to relevant authorities.

4. Handling CSAM and child safety concerns
If Knotly becomes aware of suspected child sexual abuse material, child sexual abuse and exploitation, grooming, exploitation, or other child safety risks, we will take appropriate action, which may include:
- Removing violating content.
- Suspending or banning accounts.
- Preserving relevant information where legally appropriate.
- Reporting confirmed child safety concerns to relevant regional, national, or law enforcement authorities where required by law.

Knotly complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations. We are committed to maintaining policies and procedures to prevent, detect, respond to, and report child sexual abuse and exploitation.
