Account Deletion Request

This page explains how Knotly users can request deletion of their account and associated personal data.

How to request account deletion

To request deletion of your Knotly account, please contact Knotly Support using the email below.

Please send the request from the email address connected to your Knotly account where possible.

Information to include

  1. Your full name.
  2. The email address linked to your Knotly account.
  3. A clear message saying you want your Knotly account deleted.

Data that will be deleted

After your request is verified, Knotly will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymise:

  • Your account profile information.
  • Your uploaded profile photos.
  • Your matching preferences.
  • Your push notification token.
  • Your account-related personal information.

Data that may be retained

Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or safety reasons.

Some data may also remain in backups or logs for a limited period before being automatically deleted.

Processing time

We aim to process account deletion requests within a reasonable time after verifying the account owner.
